Late Night Round-Up: John Kerry In France

The Daily Show took a look at America’s ongoing response to the terrorist attacks in France — like Secretary of State John Kerry bringing James Taylor over to sing “You’ve Got a Friend” during an official visit.

Larry Wilmore rolled out the first episode of The Nightly Show, including a special panel on the current state of the black protest — though Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) also threw in a question over whether he and Larry would truly like to grow hair if they could.

Jon Stewart also hosted Mike Huckabee, who is sounding out a presidential campaign by touring with a book denouncing the cultural “bubbles” against middle America. Stewart responded, however, by contrasting Huckabee’s lambasting of Beyoncé for crude pop music with Huckabee’s own musical performance on his former Fox News TV show with Ted Nugent for the song “Cat Scratch Fever.”

Conan O’Brien observed the new poll data showing that six out of ten Republicans want Mitt Romney to run for president again — but as Conan points out, there’s another group that wants Mitt even more.

In its 920-page policy manual the word “abortion” appears nearly 200 times.
